Founded in 2014 by Wilson Muinamiaa native of Nairobi Kenya. Wilson had a vision to help support his native farming communities by exporting green bean coffee into the United States. The goal was to target green bean coffee brokers, importers and local coffee roasters. Due to the consistency of the highly scored product, Kifahari Coffee LLC created a loyal fan base of both consumers, importers and roasters.
Swahili word for Excellent Coffee. This is our signature blend that we profiled to bring consistence in our Kenyan Coffee.
A product of derived from Kenyan Coffee AAvarietals that we have hand selected to produce a bright yet balanced coffee with strong undertones of citrus. Only the best coffee beans graduate to become Kifahari Coffee. Our origin network provides us with daily news on coffee growing conditions and expected seasonal yields so we can stay on top of our market product that meet our criteria in providing us the highest quality bean on a consistent basis. Kifahari Coffee is developed in collaboration with four roast masters and cuppers to bring out the true essence of Kenyan coffee. We believe we have produced an excellent product that can be duplicated on a consistent basis.
KIFAHARI Coffeeis grown from the high plateaus of Mount Kenya villages, which have the acidic soil providing excellent conditions for coffee plants. This results to coffee that is well known for its intense flavor, full body, and pleasant aroma and is cultivated by farmers whom we touch from village to village and change their lives through sales of their coffee produce.
It is more superior in quality than most of the coffees produced in other countries due to the volcanic soils in Central Kenya highlands (above 1500 meters above sea level) where it is grown by farmers in the villages.
Our Coffee is subjected to a very rigorous process which involves selective hand picking of only the red ripe cherries, pulping, fermentation, washing, skin drying and a finally controlled sun drying of the coffee parchment. The coffees parchments are milled to produce the green coffee beans which are then graded depending on their physical characteristics.
These characteristics include size, shape, color, and density. We choose our coffee beans to highlight differences in origin, processing, or roast to enable our customers the ability to enjoy the exotic flavor profiles of our coffee. This sort of comparison is what we endeavor doing all the time.
A niche exists that has yet to be filled for a high-volume, upscale, quality-driven coffee with a warm, inviting atmosphere. Kifahari Coffee LLC meets this need and fills this niche. We offer high-quality products in an upscale environment.
